Hey everyone. Charles and I are winding down our stint here in Belize. The rains that came in late july which flooded bridges out to the Chiquibul and did a number on the 'back a bush' roads so Charles season was over last week pretty much. (He'll tell you all about it). I still had some community surveys which we finished in Seign Bight (near Placencia) and Hopkins villages a few days ago. We're now on Caye Caulker and I have the final 10 surveys here tomorrow and/or Monday. Phew!
Today Charles and I splurged and took a SCUBA trip to the Blue Hole and Half Moon caye (wow!). We're staying at Da Real Macaw this great little hotel with A/C (aahh) and wireless internet in the rooms (aaahhhh). We'll update more with photos soon/tomorrow!
